How does the Pan/SQL work with the Easytrieve?

Does Pan/SQL serve as the interface between Easytrieve and DB2?

There is no specific syntax or code for PAN/SQL, correct?

Pan/SQL, release 2.4C

Easytrieve Report Generator, release 11.6

 

Resolution

This is correct:

1. The Pan/SQL product serves as the interface between DB2 and CA Technologies' product, especially and primarily the Easytrieve product.

2. There is no specific syntax or code for Pan/SQL.  

Please ensure that the Pan/SQL CAILIB is added to your JCL in order to have the Easytrieve DB2 program run correctly.
