How does CA Pan/SQL work with CA Easytrieve?

Does CA Pan/SQL serve as the interface between CA Easytrieve and DB2?

There is no specific syntax or code for PAN/SQL, correct?

CA Pan/SQL, release 2.4C

CA Easytrieve Report Generator, release 11.6

 

Resolution

This is correct:

1. The CA Pan/SQL product serves as the interface between DB2 and CA Technologies' product, especially and primarily the CA Easytrieve product.

2. There is no specific syntax or code for CA Pan/SQL.  

Please ensure that the CA Pan/SQL CAILIB is added to your JCL in order to have the CA Easytrieve DB2 program run correctly.
