This article discusses how to setup the Citrix plugin in a JMeter test. How to set it up so it can run in a Blazemeter performance test?
BLAZEMETER PERFORMANCE TESTING
Make sure that the JMX runs well on local JMeter before uploading it to a Blazemeter test.
You need to setup a Windows system that satisfies the JMeter Citrix Plugin Requirements as listed in this article, except for JMeter itself as that will be downloaded automatically by crane once the test starts.
Then setup a private location and install a Blazemeter Windows agent on that Windows system.
When the JMX passed the local JMeter test, upload it to the Blazemeter test along with the jar to provide the Citrix plugin (citrix-jmeter-0.x.jar). This jar is present in the local JMeter\lib\ext that ran your Citrix test successfully.
Finally in the load distribution, specify the private location that points to your Windows agent.
All public locations are linux based so the Citrix plugin can only run on a private location with Windows based agents.
