The ArchMgr shuts down after being started with the Spectrum Control Panel (SCP) or from the command line using the startSS.pl perl script.
The ARCHMGR.OUT log
"The Archive Manager has been shut down because the SpectroSERVER does not contain a User model for this user."
When Spectrum was installed the spectrum user was specified in mixed case
example: CA_ServiceAccount
In this case, the user account was a domain account. Active Directory was returning the user in all lower case 'ca_serviceaccount' and
when checking the SpectroSERVER for a user account one was not found due to the user existing in mixed case 'CA_ServiceAccount'.
Release : 10.x
Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER
Ideally, when specifying the Spectrum Install owner during install it should match the case of the user created in the OS or
Active Directory. The way to resolve this would be to re-install Spectrum on the machine and specify the user in the same
case as the OS/AD user.
Work Around:
It is not always possible to reinstall. Create a second user matching the case of the OS/AD user
SCP
~~> Control ~~> Users ~~> Create
After creating the user in the matching case (OS/AD) start the ArchMgr.
