How to preserve writer values on files automatically routed via DESTID FDEST= statements to other printers in Spool?

 

Environment

Release: Output Management Spool for z/OS 14.0

Resolution

Specify the &RMT replacement variable in the DESTID FDEST= statement for the target printer.

Here is a sample DESTID FDEST using the replacement variable:

DESTID QDEST=Original_Dest,FDEST=(Target_Dest.&RMT)

Provide correct values for destinations and issue a /REINIT command for changes to take effect for new incoming files.
