Issue/Introduction

If the  APPLY CHECK and APPLY Jobs are run with NO BYPASS parameters specified, they  receive a ZERO (0000) Condition Code, on both.

The libraries updated by the service were:

ABAALOAD:     HLQ.EZTRV116.ABAALOAD
and
CBAALOAD:     HLQ.EZTRV116.CBAALOAD

To have both the APPLY CHECK and APPLY function with ZERO (0000) Condition Codes, didn't require ANY BYPASS Operands to be coded.

Environment

Release : 11.6

Component : CA EASYTRIEVE REPORT GEN

Resolution

The SMP/E BYPASS parameter is based on the specific maintenance for that product. This is not related to SMP/E Internet Service Retrieval since SMP/E Internet Service Retrieval only does SMP/E receive. Once the maintenance is RECEIVED, the need for any sort of SMP/E BYPASS is based on the product PTFs that are trying to be applied for APPLY CHECK or APPLY processing.
