Issue/Introduction

ca_itrm login failed with cannot connect to DB Database Name, Port Number. (Microsoft SQL Server,Error,18456)

 

Environment

Release : 14.5

Component : DESKTOP MANAGEMENT SUITE

Resolution

This error occurs if Database is configured with only windows authentication . Make sure database is configured with Mixed Mode Authentication ( SQL Authentication and windows )As shown in below picture. Change this and restart the SQL Service.
