Format Specifier %s error while requesting AD Groups for bulk users

Issue/Introduction

When using the CA Identity Portal Bulk Assign function to allocate Active Directory groups, (Access > Bulk Upload>.csv file uploaded > Endpoint>Active Directory>Requesting for a Group).

The following error is returned: Format Specifier  '%s'

Release : 14.3 CP2

Component : CA IDENTITY SUITE (VIRTUAL APPLIANCE)

Cause

Programatic issue.

Resolution

Bulk user operations are not supported on endpoint accounts. The error is supposed to report 'Account operation must contain only one target user'.  But due to an issue in the code, it is returning the %s error message in the IP user console on access request submission for bulk users.

The error will be corrected in a later release.
