Issue/Introduction

Upgrading to z/OS 2.4 and CICS/TS 5.5 and including DFHPLT TYPE=ENTRY,PROGRAM=CAS9LRAC in the PLTPI source member, CICS start-up fails with:

Resolution

Add programs DFHSIP, CAS9LRAC, and CAS9RACL to the RACF authorized callers table, ICHAUTAB, for the RACLIST privilege to fix this problem. 

Then CICS TS 5.5. PLT should report:

CAS9038I - RACLIST CREATE FOR CLASS(CA@MD   ) SAF RC=0000 RC=0000 REASON=0000 and the CACMD resources are correctly secured.
