Issue/Introduction

When upgrading from TSS r15 to TSS r16, is there a way to make sure RACF is running on the system or not? 

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA Top Secret for z/OS

Resolution

If you get the TSS9000I CA Top Secret nn.n nn0000KO00 ACTIVE message at IPL time, then Top Secret is running on that system and RACF is NOT running.

If RACF is active when Top Secret starts, the following messages are issued:
TSS9055W - RACF SECURITY INTERFACE PRESENT
TSS9055A - SELECT PROCESSING: <X> TERMINATE TSS <T> ACTIVATE TSS COMMAND

Replying T to the TSS9055A prompt results in:
TSS9002I - RACF CO-EXISTENCE FEATURE ACTIVE
