Issue/Introduction

We are in the process of installing z/OS 2.4.  I just RECEIVED all of the maintenance for ROSCOE by the Internet Service Delivery.  When I try to APPLY the maintenance, I keep getting a MODID error.

How do I get past this ?

Resolution

Accept ZRO6009. This is the service pack level FMID.

Apply RO88477 and then apply SO05092 in this order. All the remaining apars will go on fine after these two apars are applied separately. 

This will resolve the modid error

Another possible issue is the APPLY of LU00960. You may receive a PRE for ZRO6009 is missing. This would be caused by missing apar QO94897. You should be sure to apply QO94897, then apply SO11497. After these are applied then LU00960 will apply properly.
