Ghost Solution Suite is not reporting inventory for Office 365 correctly

Issue/Introduction

Ghost Solution Suite (GSS) 3.3 RU3 to RU6 is not reporting Office 365 correctly. Office365 64 (x64) and 32 bit (x86) versions both report as Office365 64 bit in affected versions.

Environment

GSS 3.3 RU3, RU4, RU5, RU6

Cause

Known issue. Initial tests reported the following:

installed 32 bit Office 365 to 32 bit OS > Reported as "O365xx - en-us"

installed 64 bit Office 365 to 64 bit OS > Reported as "O365xx - en-us *64"

installed 32 bit Office 365 to 64 bit OS > Reported as "O365xx - en-us *64" 

 

Resolution

A fix has been added to our GSS 3.3 RU7 Release and later for this issue.
