Issue/Introduction
Installing latest maintenance for Database Management Solutions for IMS for z/OS results in the following errors during APPLY:
GIM69168E ** HFSCOPY PROCESSING TO THE CITKUSS LIBRARY FAILED FOR JAR ITKCRENT IN SYSMOD xxxxxxx. THE RETURN CODE (12)
EXCEEDED THE ALLOWABLE VALUE. DATE 21.067 - TIME 18:40:31 - SEQUENCE NUMBER 000002.
BPXF151I BPXCOPY WAS INVOKED FOR HEAD ID 000005.
BPXF150I MVS DATA SET WITH DDNAME SYSUT1 SUCCESSFULLY COPIED INTO BINARY HFS FILE /x/xxx/xxxx/CA/ITKCRENT.
BPXF140E RETURN CODE 00000081, REASON CODE 0594003D. A LINK FAILED FOR LINK NAME /x/xxx/xxxx/CA/../ConditionalReorg/bin
/crg.jar.
Resolution
The binder report indicates the following related error
BPXF140E RETURN CODE 00000081, REASON CODE 0594003D.
A LINK FAILED FOR LINK NAME /x/xxx/xxxx/CA/../ConditionalReorg/bin/crg.jar.
The half word reason code, 003D, issued by message BPXF104E, indicates that the
the directory in the pathname could not be found.

¦ ¦ Verify that the name specified is spelled correctly.
The directory structure is not correct.
The ConditionalReorg directory is inside the CA directory, however our installation indicates it should be at the same level as CA directory.
The PTF expects it there as well, the path from the log: /x/xxx/xxxx/CA/../ConditionalReorg/bin. The “/../” mean “go one dir level up”.
Review the SMP/E target zone CITKMNTP DDDEF and make certain that
<hlq>.CITKMNT is mounted to that path. The CITKUSS DDDEF
should have the /CA extension but the actual mount point should be the path
specified on the CITKMNTP DDDEF.
