Does the IDMS REST API have to wait for any other software before it is started as I would like to have it started automatically during the IPL like IDMS, Db2, CICS, z/OSMF, etc.?
Environment
Release : 19.0
Component : CA IDMS/DB
Resolution
The IDMS REST API is not dependent on anything to start. If at some point you start utilizing the API mediation layer, your REST API can be configured to attempt to register itself with the API mediation layer. This is not a concern if the user is just going direct from the REST API to the CV.
