Unable to change Bulk Upload Attributes

Issue/Introduction

Is there a way to change the bulk upload attributes in the CA Identity Portal (Access -> Bulk Upload-.csv file uploaded > ), while selecting what data is in csv (for example UserId, Full Name etc).

Release : 14.3 CP2

Component : CA IDENTITY SUITE (VIRTUAL APPLIANCE)

Resolution

To change the Bulk attributes, follow the steps below:

 

1. Make the attribute searchable. 

You can make the attributes you are looking for searchable in the Settings -> Managed Object Attributes section of the IP (Identity Portal) Management Console UI (User Interface).

 

2. Make the attributes accessible to the search that is used in the Access Module (For example Employee Search). 

This  via the IP Management Console -> Elements -> Searches -> (Employee Search)

3. Once you have all the attributes set you may need to restart the Identity Portal for them to take effect.
