Spectrumgtw sync from spectrum stopped working

Issue/Introduction

Spectrum alarm sync from UIM spectrumgtw stopped. Incremental sync performance is slow as well.

Cause

- memory settings/spectrumgtw cache size

Environment

Release : 9.0.2 or higher

Component : UIM - SPECTRUMGTW

Windows server 2012 R2

Spectrumgtw: 8.67hf6

Resolution

As long as you have enough physical memory available, please increase the java min/max memory for the spectrumgtw probe to:

<startup>
   options = -Xms2048m -Xmx4096m -Duser.language=en -Duser.country=US
</startup>

Then cold start the spectrumgtw probe (Deactivate, wait till the port and PID disappear then Activate.)

If that doesn't speed up the sync process, then do the following:

- Deactivate the spectrumgtw probe.

- Navigate to the INSTALL directory, (yours may be different)-> 

   ...\Program Files (x86)\Nimsoft\probes\gateway\spectrumgtw

- Remove the spectrumgtw cache

- Activate spectrumgtw

Check the time it takes to complete the incremental sync again.
