Issue/Introduction

When importing Active Directory settings in to Symantec Endpoint Detection and Response (SEDR) from exported settings, the import fails.

Cause

The DNS settings on EDR do not match those on Active Directory.

Environment

SEDR 4.6.0 or newer

Resolution

Edit the DNS settings to match those on Active Directory, then re-import the Active directory settings.
