How do I install a Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) client in dark network mode when using the installer (source) files, and not through the SEP Manager (SEPM)?

Resolution

You can set this using the following file as part of the install:

setaid.ini

Add/edit line:

DarkNetwork=1
