MIM support for MVS SET TIMEZONE command

Issue/Introduction

Historically when the twice yearly time change has occurred we have always IPL'd the system to effect the time change.

Some years ago IBM introduced the SET TIMEZONE command and I was planning to employ this command.

Does CA-MIM support this process and are there any considerations regarding use of this command.  

 

Cause

Semi-Annual time change

Resolution

There are no issues in regards to MIM in relation to system time. So altering time via the SE TIMEZONE command will have no impact on MIM functionality.
