DX NetOps CA Performance Management - Usage and Administration

This may be an odd request. We send SNMP Traps to a trap receiver other than Spectrum. The team which manages the trap receiver is indicating to us that there are triplicate values being created when receiving the trap. The only thing I can think of is that we are either sending triple SNMP traps for every event, or, the SNMP traps are being fragmented in such a way that the receiving endpoint is making it into three events.

Can you please provide insight into the best method to determine if our SNMP traps are sending triplicate, and/or, if you have seen this before?

To work around this issue, update /opt/CA/PerformanceCenter/EM/webapps/EventManager/WEB-INF/ and change em.notification.trap.retry_count=2 to em.notification.trap.retry_count=0
