ACF2 - DB2 Option

Issue/Introduction

A DB2 Plan is listed with the intent to review and update. The update entered includes the SYSID parameter but this returns an error message:

ACF70035 INVALID KEYWORD - SYSID        

 

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA ACF2 for z/OS

Cause

For DB2 rules there is a different rule compiler which is similar to standard resource rule compiler but with some minor differences related to DB2 processing.

Resolution

Issue the proper SET command for DB2 before working with DB2 rules so that the DB2 rule compile process will be used is invoked as indicated by message ACFD2010. For example, the following is entered from the TSO READY prompt:
