Issue/Introduction

Could you please confirm that oc.jwt.refreshInterval parameter mentioned in the link OC 20.3.2 Patch (broadcom.com) stands for the refresh of data in widgets within selected interval?

Example. if oc.jwt.refreshInterval is set to 30, does it mean that the data loaded in particular OC widgets visible to active users will be refreshed in 30 second intervals?

Environment

Release : 20.3.2

Component : UIM - OPERATOR CONSOLE

Resolution

The question was forwarded to the Development, the update is as follows:

The setting oc.jwt.refreshInterval is related to the Token generated by OperatorConsole for user authentication and the token is exchanged between Browser and Server as sid Header attribute in the request/response. The oc.jwt.refreshInterval setting ensures the new token is generated after every interval and it is only for user auhentication and authorization purposes. This setting is not related to page refresh for any of the Operator Console pages.

Additional Information

From the in-house 20.3.2 lab environment, the OC page auto-refreshes every 5 minutes, this is an expected behavior
