Issue/Introduction

Symantec Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) 4.5 status_check CLI command contains invalid tests.

Cause

Multiple causes...

1. Symantec EDR Cloud service is decommissioned, so testing connectivity to SEDRC service is no longer valid.

2. After infrastructure changes caused by the acquisition of Symantec Enterprise, several other tests needed to be updated to correctly test connectivity.

Resolution

Please update to the latest version of Symantec EDR, where the status_check CLI command is updated.
