How to execute SPACE command in batch setting a specific format

Issue/Introduction

After creating a new FORMAT for SPACE command, for example removing some columns, executing the command online the correct format is used.

Running the same command in batch, it seems that the DEFAULT FORMAT is used instead, even if the following SYSIN dd  card is used in the batch execution:

COMMAND=(SPACE volser ;SET FORMAT newform SPACE)

  

 

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : SYSVIEW

Resolution

COMMAND=(SPACE volser ;SET FORMAT newform SPACE)

will work in batch but be sure that :

1) Batch executes against your PROFILE

2) You have the specified FORMAT in your profile.
