Issue/Introduction

Trying to configure get on OID of Datacom Switch and result is "Unable to extract data from SNMP Agent ..."

Under snmpget.log file there's following error msg:

Mar  8 11:39:09:502 [5852] snmpget: DEBUG: Timeout: No response from '179.189.252.1:161'
Mar  8 11:39:09:502 [5852] snmpget: (do_query_snmp) - completed rc=17
Mar  8 11:39:09:502 [5852] snmpget: SREPLY: status = 17(has expired) ->10.9.0.13/64965

 

 

 

Cause

Timeout.

Environment

Release : 20.3

Component : UIM OPERATOR CONSOLE - ALARM VIEWER

Resolution

Increase timeout under snmpget probe configuration screen.
