CA Datacom Server Windows PTF DLL versions not same version

Issue/Introduction

CA Datacom Server 14.0 informational PTF RI38094 says that a new PTF for Windows will include all of the latest DLLs and the latest cadcjdbc.jar file. 

After implementing a Windows PTF, when I check the versions of the DLLs, they are not the same version numbers. Why?

Resolution

Each CA Datacom Server Windows PTF will include all of the latest DLLs and the latest cadjdbc.jar file. 

Not all DLLs or jar file are modified by every solution. The "COMPONENTS AFFECTED: " section of the PTF description lists those DLLs with their version and the version of the cadcjdbc.jar which were actually modified by that solution.  

For example, CA Datacom Server 14.0 PTF RO83944 https://casupport.broadcom.com/download-center/solution-detail.html?aparNo=RO83944&os=WINDOWS  provides the following updated DLLs files:

COMPONENTS AFFECTED:                                           

cadcdb32.dll                      File Version:   14.0.0.174   
cadcdb64.dll                                      14.0.0.174   

PTF RO83944 also provides all of the other DLLs and the latest cadcjdbc.jar file that were not modified by this PTF such as cadcdc64.dll for example which was file version 14.0.0.79.
