OLQBATCH +IDMS DTS Error: TD0D - Reason code = -54

Issue/Introduction

Trying to run an OLQBATCH on the Primary SYSPLEX system where the request is sent to one of the CVs on the Secondary system and received the following error messages on the JOBLOG :

             

+IDMS DTS  Error: TD0C - F/e send connect id error rc = -41         

+IDMS DNS error rc = -54                                            

+IDMS DTS  Error: TD0D - Reason code = -54                          

 

And the following from OLQ:     

 

OLQ 107017 00  CA OLQ Online Query for CA IDMS Release 19.0

SIGNON SS=TSTSUB22 SCHEMA=TSTSCH22(100) DBN=SCH22SEG  DICT=APPLDICT

OLQ 094025 08  Dictionary node specified is not active.

OLQ 100029 00  Signoff accepted - OLQ session terminated.

Resolution

The issue here was that the Secondary system’s name was not in the DNS Server.  The clue was the DNS error above.

To resolve change the TARGET NAME in the appropriate PTERM in the sysgen from the system name to the actual IP and it now runs as expected.
