CA Performance Management - Usage and Administration DX NetOps

Why are interfaces that are shutdown on the router showing up in DX NetOps Performance Management?

When we list the interfaces and there states on the device command line they show a Status value of 'administratively down'.

When viewing the same interfaces against the device in the Monitored Devices view they show as Up.

The MIB data on the device isn't updated to match the devices configuration.

When examining a MIB dump if we align the interface and it's index with the ifAdminStatus MIB OID values we see they show as value 1 which equates to Up.

The responses to SNMP requests show that the value is 1, Up so that's what is used by the tool.

Engage the device administrators or the device Vendor for assistance in determining why the devices MIB data does not properly reflect the correct interface status configured on the device.
