Issue/Introduction

Corporate user account creations in IDM are failing and we see the below error. 

The Telnet on port 389 and 636 works from every IDM server but strangely we see the “LDAP connection has been closed” error. Please help is in sorting this issue out, this issue is happening for Production as we as Development.

Environment

Release : 14.2

Component : IdentityMinder(Identity Manager)

Resolution

We checked with our network team and got to know that one of the VIP was brought down which has caused the issue.
