Trying to implement MT_ZIIP_MODE setting where the manual says we have to specify PROCVIEW CORE in LOAD00 however when we do this and IPL the system Two SOLVE/NetMaster regions failed with an S0C9. Solve/NetMaster actually managed to start everything else and only then crashed.
The only error in the Syslog is :
IEE995I INVALID CONFIG COMMAND ISSUED WITH PROCVIEW CORE
Only option was to just to go back to PROCVIEW CPU. As this is the default we just opted to remove entirely.

From the errors in the S0C9 abends, customer hit a known problem with an internal process called Minute Minder that internally calculates CPU utilization that can be used for debugging problems if necessary. With the new z13's and/or zIIPs that have SMT enabled, they are running so fast that our minute minder is tripping over itself - it cannot correctly calculate the CPU.
We had to write fixes to make the calculations more granular.
Applying these fixes will resolve your problem:

Once these are applied, customer can test them by multi-threading the zIIPs again.
