Issue/Introduction

If the command ACCOUNT is issued from the COMMAND Prompt (ISPF =6) gets error message:

IKJ56553I   COMMAND NOT AUTHORIZED FOR USERID + YOUR INSTALLATION MUST AUTHORIZE USE OF THIS COMMAND

Explanation

The user is described in the UADS without account ability. The user must logon with a new user ID that has been authorized to use the ACCOUNT command.

Is there anything in ACF2 that can be done to resolve this?

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA ACF2 for z/OS

Resolution

The ACF2 equivalent of the ACCOUNT privilege that UADS has is ACCTPRIV:

ACCTPRIV|NOACCTPRIV

Indicates whether this logonid has TSO accounting privileges (for UADS updates with the TSO ACCOUNT command). (Bit field)

Logonid Record Section:  TSO

Additional Information

For additional information on ACCTPRIV and other ACF2 logonid record fields, go to Logonid Record Fields in the ACF2 manuals.
