Issue/Introduction

Description:

I have installed SDK 12SP3 CA SiteMinder, and I have heard that Jsafe.jar and jsafeJCE have been replaced by crypto.jar and cryptoFIPS.jar, but I cannot find them. Why ?

Solution:

These files have been replaced by

cryptoj.jar

If you look at the smreghost.bat file on SDK 6.0, you will find references to jsafe.jar and jsaveJCE.jar

If you look at the smreghost.bat file on SDK 12SP3 CA SiteMinderCR10, you will find references to cryptoj.jar only.

set SM_SMREGHOST_CLASSPATH=C:\Program Files\CA\sdk\java\smagentapi.jar;C:\Program Files\CA\sdk\java\cryptoj.jar
