Issue/Introduction

A task is attempted to be activated via ACTIVATE_UC_OBJECT with a non-existent queue.
As expected, this does not work. However, with a subsequent PREP_PROCESS, this queue is also inherited by the task EVENT.UNIXCMD

PREP_PROCESS should not inherit the queue from the previous call to ACTIVATE_UC_OBJECT

This is an error as it leads to a FAULT_OTHER of the start script.

Cause

Bug: A problem has been fixed where the PREP_PROCESS function got some parameters (Queue, Alias, Period object, etc.) from a previous ACTIVATE_UC_OBJECT function.

Environment

Release : 12.3

Component : AUTOMATION ENGINE

Resolution

Workaround:

Inverse the order, perform PREP_PROCESS before ACTIVATE_UC_OBJECT

Solution:

Update to a fix version listed below or a newer version if available.

Fix version:
Component(s): Automation.Engine

Automation.Engine 12.3.6 - Planned release in July 2021
