Issue/Introduction

I have a request from my Auditor to change Tomcat default password. If I change the Tomcat default password in conf/tomcat-users.xml, will that have any impact to OM Web Viewer user logon?

Environment

  • Apache Tomcat®
  • Output Management Web Viewer 12.1

Resolution

Changing the Tomcat manager password will have no impact on the Web Viewer. 

Additional Information

Though you will want to make note of the new Tomcat password should you ever have need to run the Tomcat Manager.
