Can DLP monitor DIM events to local file servers. Are DAR scans the only way supported method?

DLP can monitor DIM events to a file server by installing the DLP agent on the client machines that connect to the file server. Then enable the copy to network channels on those client machines. 

At this time DLP does not offer a single agent/service that can be installed file server to monitor DIM events.
