Adhoc report is missing Actuals posted

Issue/Introduction

An Adhoc report from Resource Management Domain that is reporting on Actuals is missing data at times.  The data is there originally but after an Incremental Load Data Warehouse job run, the data is missing. 

Steps to Recreate

  1. Create a project starting on 1/1/2020 and ending on 12/31/2021. Name it "Administration"
  2. Financial enable it and change its Financial status to open
  3. Create a task starting on 1/1/2020 and ending on 12/31/2021
  4. Staff the project 
  5. Assign a resource to the task
  6. Post actuals in Oct/2020 for Amos (quantity=9)
  7. Run all required jobs (Post Transactions, Import Actuals, Investment Allocation)
  8. Run Load Data Warehouse full (note you have actuals for the resource in the Adhoc Report)
  9. Be prepared to update the task of the Administration project with a new assignment to the same task right after you start the Load Data Warehouse job as Incremental
  10. Start the load data warehouse as incremental
  11. Wait about 10 seconds and really quick assign another resource to the task
  12. Post a transaction in Dec/2020 for the new resource (quantity=10)
  13. When Incremental Load Data Warehouse completes view the Adhoc report for the actuals on the resource.

Expected Result - The new and previous data is included

Actual Result - The data is no longer there

 

 

Cause

This is caused by defect DE59891

Environment

Release : 15.9

Resolution

Fix is scheduled for 15.9.3 release

Workaround - Run Full Load Data Warehouse job
