Issue/Introduction

When creating a new cost plan in the New User Experience (UX) for Ideas or Projects, the finish dates are not auto-populated.

This happens after the 15.9.1 upgrade.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Login to Clarity Modern UX and ensure the idea is financially enabled so the cost plan can be created
  2. Set Finish date on the idea to any last day of the month (ex. 7/31/2021)
  3. Attempt to create Cost Plan and notice Finish Period is not auto-populated

Expected Results: The Finish Period should auto-populate based on the Finish date of the idea

Actual Results: The Finish Period is not auto-populated

Note: Same behavior can be observed for projects and CITs

Cause

This is due to the project/idea having a finish date falling on the last day of the month. (DE59893)

Environment

Release : 15.9.1, 15.9.2, 15.9.3

Component : CLARITY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

Resolution

Fixed in 15.9.3.1 (patch 1) and 16.0 as defect DE59893

Workaround: Manually populate Finish Period
