Custom Data Class Names showing as GUID Instead of its Actual Name

Issue/Introduction

The customer mentioned that when he looks at some custom data classes, rather than seeing the actual data class name in the tree view, he sees its GUID as name. However, the name is actually there in the actual main panel and also when he clicks on that data class it shows the name but goes back to the GUID if he browses away and comes back.

The User that created these custom data classes in the past belonged to a custom security roles (they have cloned Symantec Administrators). 

Note:
Another user case for this issue is where the customer created a new custom inventory and when first clicking on the data it shows it as the GUID and then updated to the name.

ITMS 8.5, 8.6

Resolution

1. Export the affected data class (select data class>Right-click>Export)
2. Edit the XML with a text editor (like Notepad++). Remove any User section and just leave the "Symantec Administrators" section.
   
    
   
   
3. Re-importing this data class XML back. Reload the Console tree.
