Issue/Introduction

Autosys agent version 11.5 has recently been installed on a RHEL-6 Linux server.

Autoping via Enterprise command Line tab is issuing a successful connection to the autosys agent. 

Testing of a job execution is ending in an abrupt termination Code 9.

RHEL6 Server;

# cat /etc/redhat-release

Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.10 (Santiago)

 

Environment

Release : 12.0

Component : CA Workload Automation System Agent

Resolution

Confirm if you can logon to the host as root and then su to the job owner.

Issue such as these have been caused by security tools or operating system configurations preventing the su'ing to the job owner.
