Issue/Introduction

Metric data flow to Production MOI Appliance was interrupted for unknown reason.

Environment

Release : 2.1.*

Component : MF OPERATIONAL INTELLIGENCE

Resolution

If an interruption in metric data flow is reported  by the MOI Appliance health metric alerting or is detected by the lack of current metric data on the MOI UI, please attempt the restart of the data flow in the following specific order:

1) Stop the msgservicehub_msgservicehub_1 microservice if it is running, then start it again in the MTCAC UI.  .   Please wait until the hub becomes healthy before continuing these steps.

2) Stop the oiengine_profiler-maas_1  microservice if it is running, and then start it again in the MTCAC UI.    Please wait until the maas microservice is healthy and check the metric data flow again via the MOI UI.

3) If the metric data flow has not started after approximately 10 minutes, please cancel the MSS started task, ZMSSTART by default or the name that you provided for the STC,  and then start it again in SYSVIEW:
  /C  ZMSSTART
  /S  ZMSSTART

4) If the metric data flow doesn't restart even after the MSS STC restart, please open a Support Case on the Broadcom Support site and upload a MOI Dump (command: moi-dump) to the support case.
