Identity Manager and Administration Virtual Appliance 14.3 CP2 error to deploy

Issue/Introduction

When trying to deploy the Virtual Appliance 14.3 CP2 the Identity Manager services are not starting and accessing the Identity Manager Management Console there is no environment.

 

In the ca_vapp_main.log file the following error messages

Virtual Appliance 14.3

External Database: Oracle

Cause

There are two HFs that need to be applied on Virtual Appliance before deploying components

Resolution

Apply the following HFs

- Hotfix for dbutil Utility

- Hotfix Handles Time Zone Updates as Per 2020a Java Standards

After that

- Run the commands in the vApp

   deleteIDMJMSqueue 

   reconfigure_im

- Delete the "identityEnv" environment, in case it exists

- Restart Identity Manager service, the "identityEnv" environment will be recreated during Identity Manager startup.
