This article documents some historical information about program CSYPCLAS.

CSYPCLAS is an old online DC assembler program that was provided with CAS - which was a business application system that ran in IDMS and was marketed by Cullinet in the 1980s. Some clients still use parts of it today, including CSYPCLAS.

CSYPCLAS references IDMS control blocks such as the LTE, PTE and TCE among others. Therefore, it should be re-assembled when IDMS is upgraded.

CAS is no longer supported by Broadcom. It was sold to INFOR some time in the 1990s.
