Checking CA PAM EOS and hardware EOL - X304L

Issue/Introduction

Would like to check on the EOS and EOSL for the hardware device for CA  PAM

Hardware Model: X304L

Environment

Release : 3.2.x, 3.3.x, 3.4.x, 4.x 

Component: PRIVILEGED ACCESS MANAGEMENT

Cause

The X304L hardware is no longer being sold, this is an End of Sale hardware. 

Support would be provided to these older hardware boxes based on their existing warranty / extended warranty.

Resolution

For new hardware provisions, please do opt for the latest hardware as of writing this document - 404 series hardware.

The new 404 hardware version can be clustered with the 304L however the limitation of hardware resources as for example only 16Gb in 304L may cause problems to start cluster and other db problems For PAM PAM 4.1.x better to have all as 404 hardware version.

Do check the availability of the 404 hardware with Broadcom.
