Endevor ENCOPTBL option QE_BUILD_MAP

Issue/Introduction

Have specified QE_BUILD_MAP=OFF in the ENCOPTBL and based on the description for this option, expected Display Element results to only include elements in Stage 1, yet results presented include both Stage 1 and 2.

 

What is wrong?

Resolution

QE_BUILD_MAP=OFF is the default and Quick Edit builds the element list to include all elements within Stage 1 and Stage 2 if the build using map was set to 'N'.       

QE_BUILD_MAP=ON - this option changes the build process: when map = 'N', Quick Edit will only show elements from Stage 1.
