Staging CICS 5.5 modules in CAX1RPL and CAX1CICS?

Issue/Introduction

Need to install SO04012, SO07136 and SO08480 for CICS 5.5 support.  Would like to stage the maintenance, that is, copy the modules affected by these PTFs ahead of time, and then have an IPL later (which would restart all the CICS regions).

Would copying the modules into the regions while they are still up affect them?  Or must I wait and do the copy when the regions are down?

Component : CA ACF2 for z/OS

Resolution

There is no problem bringing in any of the new code before CTS 5.5.
