Cause

Defect to be addressed in a new IWS Connector build.

Environment

Release : 6.0.2

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE INTEGRATION IWS DISTRIBUTED

Resolution

This is caused by trailing spaces at the end of each line in the baseobjs file that is sent from the IWS server to the connector.

When transferring the file from the mainframe to the IWS connector server via SFTP the trailing spaces in the file do not get stripped and will cause this problem.

When transferring via FTP or NDM it should remove the trailing spaces.

Two possible solutions to this.

1. Transfer via FTP or NDM directly if possible.

2. Transfer on the mainframe to itself via FTP to strip the trailing spaces.  Then transfer the files to IWS.

Before sending new files to the connector make sure to delete any old files that were present.
