Issue/Introduction

Good Morning. We are installing version 13.0 to migrate the previous version. The server is already installed. The service appears above. But in the Log we are getting this error.

Resolution

You get this message when the Harvest license file is missing.

Do you have another server with a previous version of the SCM Broker installed?  If so, you can locate the license file from the other SCM Broker machine and copy it to this machine to resolve the problem.

If your broker is on Windows, please navigate to your C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\SharedComponents\ca_lic folder and locate a file named "ca.olf".  Copy this file to the same folder on the new server and restart the broker to solve the problem.

If your broker is on Linux or Unix, the file will be found in folder /opt/CA/SharedComponents/ca_lic.
