Issue/Introduction

Is there any way to run the Prometheus extension in a standalone Infrastructure Agent?. If we have the UMA installed in Openshift and we already have a Prometheus backend defined, how do we add a second (different) Prometheus backend.

Environment

Release : SAAS

Component : APM SAAS ENTERPRISE

Resolution

There is no way to have the Prometheus agent outside of the UMA agent, If you want to monitor the JMX Prometheus agent, then you need to add the backend to the UMA configuration.
