New UI does not respect the custom error message entered in System Options

Issue/Introduction

STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 

  1. Login to Clarity with administration access
  2. Navigate under administration --> System Options>Password Rules>Custom Expression
  3. Set a Regular Expression as the following: ^(?=.*[a-z])(?=.*[A-Z])(?=.*[~'[email protected]#$%^&*)(-+=]).{8,}$
  4. Set the Error Message to: At least 8 characters, 1 uppercase letter, 1 lower case letter, 1 special character and 1 number
  5. Navigate to Moden ux and trying to reset the passwords by filling the user name and click on send email 
  6. Use the link to reset the password and it will not show the message which is set on Password rules  


Expected Result : Classic UI shows the error correctly 

Actual Results : However, the Modern UI does not use the Error Message that is set.

Cause

This is logged as defect DE59753 and in review with our engineering team

Resolution

  • Till the defect is fixed login using classic UX and create an action link to navigate to modern ux
