REST API calls and REST API logging may be impacted if Uninstall scripts executed

Issue/Introduction

Running Symantec  Risk Authentication Uninstall application  (Uninstall Symantec Risk Authentication.exe)  removes restapi.properties files which may be needed if CA Strong Authentication is also installed on the same system. The repercussion of this removal impacts REST API calls and REST API logging for CA Strong Authentication.

Cause

Symantec  Risk Authentication Uninstall application removes common file restapi.properties.

 

Resolution

Create or Copy the backed up restapi.properties to <ARCOT_HOME>/conf 

Additional Information

This is a known issue and the fix for this issue will be prioritized and addressed in future releases of Advanced Authentication.
